Questions, answered.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Take orders on WhatsApp and Telegram, manage your catalog, and run a live board — free, forever, no card required.
Can I use my own payment processor?
On Growth and up you can connect Paystack, Stripe, Flutterwave, Opay, Monnify and more, with settlement in your country and currency per store.
What does the AI ordering add-on do?
Customers order in plain language — “2 jollof, no pepper, deliver to…” — and Caluchi turns it into a clean order on your board. It can also send product photos, apply a discount code, pull up a past order and take them to checkout.
Do you support multiple locations?
Growth includes up to 3 locations; Enterprise is unlimited, with advanced roles and SSO for larger teams.
Can I switch storefront themes?
Yes. Growth unlocks the full theme catalogue, and the store editor lets you reword every label without a developer.
Can a customer really just chat to place an order?
Yes — the whole order happens in the conversation. They can ask what something looks like and get the photo and the price, add and remove items, say “the same as last time”, use a discount code, correct their delivery address, and pay from a checkout link. The finished order lands on the same board as every other channel.
What happens when the AI does not know something?
It says so, and offers to check with you. It answers from your catalogue and the topics you have written and from nothing else, so it cannot invent a delivery fee or a returns window. That matters most for allergens and anything about safety, where it will always point the customer at a person rather than reassure them.
Can I control what the AI tells customers?
That is what the knowledge base is for. You write what your shop wants said — delivery areas, refunds, the tone to use, what it must never promise — and the agent works from that. You can switch any topic off and it stops using it immediately, and every change is recorded in your audit log.
What if a customer needs a real person?
The agent hands over and steps out of the conversation, so nobody is talking to a person and a machine at once. Your team is alerted in the dashboard and in your Telegram or WhatsApp ops chat, both linking straight to the conversation. You reply as your shop on the thread the customer already started, and close it when it is dealt with.
Do I have to move every order along by hand?
Only as far as you want to. You describe the steps an order goes through, what each button says, who may press it, and the message the customer gets — then “accepted”, “ready” and “on its way” go out on their own. Editing a workflow is safe mid-service: orders already in progress keep the version they started on.
